Statue of Liberty

Got up early to go to the Statue of Liberty. Even though we were on the second or third ferry of the day, it still took well over an hour to get up to the crown. The windows in the crown are really small - much smaller than they look on tv and in movies.

Big Apple Tours Brooklyn Tour

After coming back from Liberty Island we got back on a Big Apple Tour bus and did their tour of Brooklyn. I sat outside to get better photos, but it was *freezing*!

New York by night

After getting back from Brooklyn I wanted to take some photos of Times Square at night - the place is quite spectacular. Then on the way back to the hotel we happened to come across David Hasselhoff signing autographs! He was in a Broadway play - Jeckyll and Hyde. Later that night I went and saw the Rocky Horror show live, was lots of fun.
